Of all the art I do, leather is in it’s own world. It demands precision and is unforgiving. One flaw during layout, dying, assembly, or stitching and it’s all over. Proper leather requires proper tools and most of all the perfect saddle stitching. Something about rolling out a half side of cowhide and being soaked in the smell of leather for weeks…
